Edge General Store is about 30 minutes from Texas A&M and about 25 minutes north of Bryan, out on FM 974 in the community of Edge, in Brazos County. Most maps bring you right to us at 7250 Edge Cut Off Road, Hearne, TX 77859. Parking is free.

Friday and Saturday nights
Friday night is chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, green beans and country gravy, except during Lent, when Friday is catfish. Saturday night has a special that changes every week. We post our specials on Facebook and Instagram.
Make an afternoon of it
There are two acres here, with picnic tables out back, a duck pond behind the store and the store cats on the porch. The pond is fenced off, so watch the ducks from the picnic tables. Aggieland Safari is about 6 minutes away, and every fall our pumpkin patch is free to walk.
