A native of Edge, Texas, Teresa spent years in a successful floral design career before returning home in 2007 with her husband, Ron, and their son. When the opportunity arose to restore the town’s historic general store—closed for nearly 40 years—Teresa saw it as a chance to bring back a piece of Edge’s heart. The store, originally built in 1907, now holds an official historical marker, acknowledging its deep roots in the community.

With a focus on revitalizing the past, Teresa led the charge in transforming the store into a vibrant community hub once again. She introduced homemade meals, signature events, and a welcoming atmosphere that quickly became beloved by both locals and visitors. Teresa’s dedication even earned the store recognition in magazine features, including a spotlight as one of the best general stores in the region.

While Teresa provided the vision, her husband Ron was key to making it a reality. From managing daily operations to handling the restoration efforts, Ron’s dedication and hard work have been vital in keeping the store thriving.
